Okay, so after my several weeks off with the immune system problem, admittedly it was hard to think about hard workouts again. But as I have often said, starting ANYWHERE is better than sitting still and doing nothing at all. So I did a few “starter kit” workouts, several 3.5 mile walks, and a couple of 1/4 mile swims, along with some stretching and PT exercises I learned from my neck injury. The summary is below.
Started the week at 232 lbs. Monday and Tuesday were workouts from the LIIFT4 Program – I was so sore I could do NOTHING on Weds. Swam and walked on Thurs. P90X Shoulders and Arms and a walk on Friday. Swim and walk Sat. Walk only on Sunday. It was a good reintroduction to activity. This week, I will increase the workload a bit, alternating between LIIFT4, P90, Yoga, and some mixed exercise days (such as dedicating a day to getting my pullup game back into shape!!
Okay, that’s it for now! Let the fun begin!
